Ryan's 2nd Birthday

I know I'm really late getting this post out (almost a month late), but September has been a busy month. I also have to admit that upon getting my new iPhone, which allows me to get e-mail, do Facebook, and surf the internet on my phone, I haven't been upstairs to get on my actual computer as often. But here are some pictures and details from Ryan's 2nd birthday party, which was on his birthday, the 29th of August.

We invited some of Ryan's friends over to celebrate his birthday. It was a Sesame Street party, and after opening presents inside, we sent all the kids outside in the backyard to play. We had the slip & slide set up, a small kiddie pool at the base of the slide for the kids to slide down into, and the rectangular pool inflated. The kids had so much fun swimming, slipping, and sliding! We had a couple of tables set up outside, so we served hotdogs, cake, and ice cream out there as well. Earlier in the afternoon, I was really sweating it because the storm clouds were rolling in-- not good for a backyard swim party! Fortunately for us, the rain held off right until the end of the party!
