Let's Go to the "Powk"

The weather here has been so nice (welcome to fall) that we've been spending a lot of time outside. The kids like to play at the park ("powk," as Ryan calls it) and ride their tricycles. They're each acquiring some new skills. Rachael has mastered her tricycle and is trying new and bigger things at the park/playground; she likes to climb the rock walls and jungle gyms, and she's also been trying things like hanging on the bars-- something she's also doing at gymnastics. Ryan "Fred Flintstone"-walks his tricycle because his legs aren't quite long enough to reach the pedals when they are fully extended, so he shuffles his feet and scoots along on the trike that way. He could do that literally for hours. He's also learning to swing like a "big boy," rather than in the toddler swing.
