Week 24 of Photo Challenge-- Concan

A few weeks ago we went to Concan (in the hill country, on the Frio River) with some really good friends.  We spent our days playing in the river-- Rachael found a swimming hole, and Ryan either threw rocks or shot the men in the face with a water gun.  We also managed to tube the river with all the kids thanks to child-sized tubes with bottoms in them for the kids to sit in.  Thankfully the river was fuller than it has been in the most recent of years, so the tubing was fun.  Anyway, we would all put our kids to bed each evening and then stay up until the wee hours of the morning playing cards and games.  It was such a relaxing time (except for all the scorpions-- YIKES!), and we were so glad to be able to spend it with friends.
