52-Week Photo Challenge Week 20-- the Splashpad

It's really nice that in our neighborhood, the splash pad opens so early in the year.  It actually opens April 1st and stays open through the month of October.  It was a little too cold to go to the splash pad in April (although that didn't stop Daddy from taking them one time when I was out of town), but in May, the weather is certainly warm enough, and the pools aren't open yet.  What's even nicer is that this splash pad is just a couple of minutes away from our house and has plenty of shade for the grown-ups to sit in while the kids play.  We spend a lot of time here in the summertime...
