52-week Photo Project-- Week 27-- The Flood

We returned from a week-long vacation in Colorado where the weather was beautiful-- highs in the upper 70s and low 80s, and lows in the 50s-- to a place where it seemed to rain for two weeks straight.  Welcome home!!  We went stir-crazy in the house with all the rain, but so many of the streets were flooding that it really wasn't smart to get out in it if you didn't have to, which we didn't.  But the stir-craziness led to this-- my children going out fully clothed to play outside in the pouring down rain.  They needed it.  I needed it.
