Today we took the kids over to the park to take advantage of the beautiful weather and free train rides. Rachael told us she was "'cited" to ride the train. We had to wait in a pretty long line, but she was so patient. She would say, "Bye, people" as each train would take off with its passengers aboard. Then, after the anticipation of waiting in line, it was finally our turn. We got on, and she completely mellowed out. We couldn't tell if she was having a good time or not. She told us later that she had fun, and in fact, was quite upset when we couldn't ride again. She must've asked us 20 times, "Is it over? Is it over? Is it over?" Anyway, she had fun, and Ryan did well. We came home this afternoon, napped, and then went to the park to swing and go down the slide. It was a great family day!
Here are a couple more pictures from the past few days.
Rachael playing in her new ball pit...
Eating yogurt by herself for the first time... (she was so proud of herself).
Another cute smile from Ryan...
