GP Kool Kids Reunion at Ole Moon

At least once a year we get together with some of our good high school friends for the weekend at an encampment place owned by the church that our friend Tiffin works for. It's a lot of fun for the kids; they get to stay outside almost all day, playing games, swinging, getting dirty... and the adults enjoy visiting, playing volleyball, and other games. Keith and Christie and their kids also come, so we get to visit with them, and Rachael has a lot of fun playing with her cousins and her friends. The weather this year could not have been more perfect--highs in the low 70s during the day, and lows in the upper 50s at night. Here are a few pictures from the weekend.

It seemed like every time we turned around, Rachael was squatting down picking grass, playing in the dirt, etc.

See what I mean?

This was a favorite activity of the kids--swinging on this air pogo thing. This was the first year Rachael was able to get on and hold on by herself. She had a blast! Thanks to Uncle Keith for pushing her!

Kiddos always got to eat first, and the adults got the leftovers.

This video is a little awkward because it's so close to Ryan's face, but that's because I was holding the camera out in front of us and had it pointing back at us. Not the most flattering shot of Ryan, but listen to his babbling. The kid has finally found his voice! He talks quite a bit now. Listen closely to hear his first real word; if you can't understand it, I'll tell you what I think he's saying :)

Well, of course his first word is "Mama"! Sorry to miss all the fun. So glad Rachael wasn't sick this time!
